Generation Issues

Generation stuck or taking too long

Complex projects with many requirements naturally take longer to process. The AI needs time to analyze your idea and generate comprehensive documentation across multiple files.

  1. Wait at least 2-3 minutes before assuming something is wrong — large projects can take time.
  2. If generation appears stuck, use the Cancel button on the project page to stop the current job.
  3. Try simplifying your project description or breaking it into a more focused scope, then retry.
  4. Check the job status indicator on your project page for real-time progress updates.

Generation failed with an error

Generation failures are usually temporary and caused by brief interruptions in the AI service. In most cases, a simple retry will resolve the issue.

  1. Wait a moment, then click Retry or use the Resume option on your project.
  2. If the error persists after 2-3 attempts, try resetting the project and starting fresh.
  3. If the problem continues, contact support with your project ID and we will investigate.

Documents seem incomplete or low quality

The quality of generated documentation depends heavily on the detail and clarity of your initial idea and how thoroughly you answer the clarification questions.

  1. Provide a detailed initial description — include target users, key features, and technical preferences.
  2. Answer all clarification questions thoroughly instead of using auto-reply for every question.
  3. Consider upgrading to a higher plan for access to more capable AI models that produce richer documentation.
  4. You can always edit generated documents directly and save your changes with full version history.

Account & Login

Can't log in to my account

Login issues are typically caused by incorrect credentials or an expired session. A few quick checks should get you back in.

  1. Double-check that you are using the correct email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the forgot password link to reset your password.
  3. If you originally signed up with Google or GitHub, use the corresponding OAuth button instead of email login.
  4. Clear your browser cookies and try again.

OAuth login not working

OAuth flows with Google or GitHub can occasionally fail due to browser restrictions, popup blockers, or cookie settings.

  1. Make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browser settings.
  2. Disable any popup blockers that might interfere with the OAuth redirect.
  3. Try using a different browser or an incognito/private window.
  4. As a fallback, use email and password login — you can set a password via the forgot password flow.

Not receiving password reset email

Password reset emails are sent immediately but can sometimes be delayed or filtered by your email provider.

  1. Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder for an email from Norvo.
  2. Wait up to 5 minutes — email delivery can occasionally be delayed.
  3. Make sure you are entering the exact email address you used to register.
  4. If you still do not receive the email, contact support for manual assistance.

Documents & Downloads

Can't download my documents

Document downloads are delivered as a ZIP file. Browser settings or extensions can sometimes prevent the download from starting.

  1. Check that your browser is not blocking popups or automatic downloads from Norvo.
  2. Try a different browser if the download button does not respond.
  3. Make sure document generation has fully completed before attempting to download.
  4. If using a mobile browser, try switching to a desktop browser for the best experience.

Documents not showing in my project

If you do not see any documents in your project, the generation process may still be running or may not have started yet.

  1. Check the job status indicator on your project page — generation may still be in progress.
  2. Refresh the page to pull the latest state from the server.
  3. If the job shows as completed but no documents appear, try logging out and back in.
  4. If the issue persists, contact support with your project ID.

Lost my edits to a document

Every time you save a document, Norvo automatically creates a version snapshot. You can browse and restore any previous version at any time.

  1. Open the document you want to recover and click the Version History tab.
  2. Browse through previous versions to find the one you want to restore.
  3. Click Restore on the version you want to go back to.
  4. The restored version becomes the latest version — your other versions are still preserved.

Billing & Subscription

Payment failed

Payment failures are usually caused by insufficient funds, expired cards, or a bank declining the transaction. Stripe will automatically retry failed payments.

  1. Verify that your card details are correct — Stripe will automatically retry failed payments.
  2. If the charge continues to fail, try upgrading again with a different card.
  3. Contact your bank to ensure they are not blocking the transaction.
  4. If you continue to have trouble, contact support and we can help resolve it.

Can't access Pro features after upgrading

After upgrading your subscription, it can take a brief moment for your account to sync with the new plan. This is usually resolved within a minute.

  1. Log out of your account and log back in to refresh your session.
  2. Wait 2-3 minutes for the subscription status to sync from Stripe.
  3. Check your email for a payment confirmation to verify the upgrade went through.
  4. If features are still locked after 10 minutes, contact support.

Need to cancel my subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access to all Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

  1. Go to Settings and navigate to the subscription section.
  2. Click Cancel Subscription to initiate cancellation.
  3. Your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle — no partial refunds are issued.
  4. You can reactivate your subscription at any time before it expires.
